Builds = skill specs + Stigma + stats; all 8 classes covered
Guide sites that played through Advanced Access have published build guides for all eight launch classes — Game8 names a PvE build for each class, and Fextralife documents Stigma setups, skill upgrade milestones, rotations, and stat orders per class. All of it is community guidance from launch week (October 5–8, 2026), not NC-official, and any balance patch can invalidate a pick.
What an AION 2 Build Consists Of
Three layers make a build. First, skill specializations: each major skill unlocks specialization slots at skill levels 8, 12, and 20, with the more advanced modifiers appearing at 12 and 16 — the picks inside those slots are the first big decision. Second, the Stigma setup: up to five equipped Stigma define the build’s core identity, which is why every guide leads with its Stigma list. Third, stat priorities and weapon choice, which scale everything else.
Because the layers unlock progressively, a build is also a leveling plan: which skill upgrades to buy at 12 and 16, which Stigma to equip first, and which stats to chase on gear. The Gladiator build page shows what a complete launch-week plan looks like end to end.
None of these systems is optional — a class played without its specialization and Stigma picks is measurably weaker than the same class played with them. That is the whole reason build guides converged on this three-layer structure within days of launch.
Where the Launch Builds Live
Fextralife’s Aion 2 wiki carries build pages for all eight classes — Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric, and Chanter — with PvE and PvP variants, Stigma cores, upgrade milestones, rotations, and stat orders. Its builds page was updated October 8, 2026, making it the freshest of the big guides.
Game8’s best-builds list (updated October 6–7) names a PvE build per class — Rending Blow Gladiator, Judgment Templar, Heart Gore Assassin, Deadshot Ranger, Hellfire Sorcerer, Fire Spirit Spiritmaster, Absolution Cleric, and Dark Crush Chanter — plus a parallel PvP list. Independent blogs such as ExitLag and MMOEXP add per-class takes, with Gladiator again the most covered.
This wiki does not copy those guides. It links them, dates them, and keeps its own deep dives where the evidence is thick enough — starting with the Gladiator page, which reconstructs both launch archetypes from the freshest source.
Where Launch Builds Agree
Gladiator is the most documented and most agreed-upon build of launch week: a greatsword frontliner with a boss-damage PvE variant and a knockdown-chain PvP variant, ranked top-tier by every community tier list at the same time. The Gladiator build page carries both variants in full.
Across classes, the guides converge on priorities: accuracy and critical hits headline nearly every stat order, the Stigma setup is treated as the biggest single lever in a build, and PvE and PvP picks are kept as separate builds rather than one compromise list.
Agreement at launch week is not consensus forever. These guides describe day-one tuning with no balance patch applied yet; when the first patch lands, every build page above — and this one — needs a re-check before its advice should be trusted again.
How to Judge a Build This Early
Check the update date first: a guide written before October 5 describes Advanced Access tuning, and one updated October 7–8 has seen the free-launch population. The gap matters because server conditions and group content mix changed at launch.
Keep PvE and PvP builds separate in your head, because the guides do: stat orders, Stigma picks, and specialization choices all swap between them. A class can have an excellent PvE build and a mediocre PvP build in the same week.
Finally, test before you commit scarce resources. Specialization choices and Stigma setups cost materials to change, and no launch-week guide has combat-log data behind it. The combat power page’s verify-first loop applies to builds as much as to gear.
Build Coverage by Class
The table below maps where each class’s builds are documented as of October 8, 2026. Named builds belong to their authors and are listed as published; this wiki’s own deep dive so far is the Gladiator page, with more classes to follow as evidence accumulates.
Treat the named-build column as a sign of coverage, not an endorsement: a class having a named Game8 build means the site committed to a recommendation, which is useful information even when you disagree with the pick.

The verified Gamescom 2026 trailer is included as official combat media. It does not demonstrate any specific build, specialization, or Stigma setup, and no build advice on this page is inferred from the footage.
Build Content Still Maturing
Launch-week guides cover skills, Stigma, and stats in depth, while other build layers have not been documented yet. Each field below is filled when a dated, checkable source exists.
